The songwriter behind "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay", "Try a Little Tenderness" and more, Otis Redding's promising career was cut short by a tragic plane crash in 1967. That roster now includes JAY-Z and KANYE WEST, whose track "Otis feat. Otis Redding" from Watch the Throne draws inspiration from Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness".
