This Day in Music April 15th

On this day in 1972 Atlantic recording artist Roberta Flack began a 6 week stay at number 1 with her hit song "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" from the album First Take. Roberta was signed to Atlantic in 1968 and had a successful career as a singer throughout the 70s and 80s earning her 13 Grammy nominations and 4 wins!
