Watch Missy on BET's Black Girls Rock!

Since 2006, Black Girls Rock has been dedicated to the healthy development of self-esteem and self-worth of young women of color by changing their outlook on life, broadening their horizons, and helping them to empower themselves. On Sunday they partner with BET for an unprecedented world-wide broadcast highlighting the accomplishments of exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions in their careers, and who stand as inspirational and positive role models in their communities.

Accepting the Visionary Award this year is none other than the inspirational and ground-breaking emcee, Missy Elliot. Not your average female rapper, in the business of music she is known for setting trends and breaking new ground in hip hop. With an innovative style that complements her music, the five-time Grammy Award winner continues to push the envelope for females in a male-dominated industry.

Don't miss this chance to celebrate Missy's accomplishments and contributions to scores of female entrepreneurs she has paved the way for. Tune in to BET SUNDAY at 8PM EST and catch host Nia Long, with performances and appearances by Estelle, Jill Scott, Keri Hilson, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole, and many more.

Congratulations Missy!
